Value Chain
In the Volta Region, the group is poised at establishing an organic groundnut/peanut value chain to supply its operational nut processing facility. This initiative is part of a backward integration strategy for Yayra Glover Foods and Beverages and contributes to conserving the unique ecosystem of the Avu Lagoon area.
Here, the habitat of the Sitatunga and aquatic life endangered by poaching and unsustainable farming practices are being protected through eco-conscious interventions.
Fighting Illegal Mining Through Agricultural Empowerment
The group is also organizing farmers in the Eastern and Volta regions to produce various fruits and vegetables for export to organized EU markets. This initiative aims to enhance farmers’ incomes and address the illegal mining menace that threatens arable lands and water bodies.
